Excellent opportunity for an Experience Developer who is ready to progress into a leadership role (or has already done so) with Microsoft .NET, ASP.Net, SQL server and SharePoint Services to join this expanding global organisation.
The position will involve prototyping and writing complex code and we are looking for a dynamic self-starter who can also be creative in thinking and a background in financial services (ideally employee benefits / pensions) would be an advantage. The position will be mainly office based with some requirement to travel (infrequent).
Supporting the Chief Architect to design and review Infrastructure and Application architectures and contribute to the technical design of IT projects. Provides technical consultancy to IT business units and clients. Assists with reviewing the suitability of new products and technologies in order to provide advice to IT and business leaders and assist with their deployment.
Designing and/or reviewing the technical architecture and high-level design of IT projects, developing and maintaining
an ongoing and in depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies, in particular, business productivity tools such as SharePoint, in order to actively contribute to such discussions, and take a lead role in the analysis, design (including prototyping) and deployment of complex business specifications, working with other members of the project team.
Experience of designing, building and deploying enterprise applications using -
• Microsoft .NET
• ASP.NET
• SQL Server
• Microsoft Office SharePoint Services
